About the Project:

This project aims to develop the Jerusalemite youth (Males and Females) capacities and to increase workforce employability and skills level through demand-driven job training, by providing youth (males and females) with life and technical skills (of total 72 training hrs.), practical experience in the filed through paid internship period (for two months) and career counselling, in addition to facilitate their access and linkage with the labor market specially in tourism and hospitality fields.

Achieved outcomes:

  • 100 youth (males and females) from East Jerusalem (Inside and Outside the Wall) received life and technical training of total (72 training hrs.).
  • 50 youth (males and females) received two months of paid internship in tourism and hospitality fields.
  • Two Career Days (one in Ramallah and on in Bethlehem) aimed to linking youth with employers and in participation of more than 200 youth and more than 60 employers,
  • More than 58 youth out of 100 received permanent and/or temporary job in the labor market.
