About the Project:

JUHOUD for Community and Rural Development is implementing the project “ Train to Achieve Jobs – TAJ – Developing Skills & Enhancing Employability” The project aim to build youth capacities and employ them in the labor market in the West-Bank ( Salfit, Nablus, Ramallah & Bethlehem) in coordination with Finance for Jobs Consulting Services (F4J CS) by providing youth with technical skills training through Specialized Vocational Centers and Accredit the Ministry of Labor, provide internship and finding youths’ employment opportunity in the Furniture Sector.

Achieved Outcome

Throughout TAJ project, more than 184 (30% females) applicants participated in the program and around 145 graduated from the technical training in the Furniture and Operators and Designer for printing house sectors in the targeted areas. Moreover, nearly up to 100 (48% females) of the skilled graduates secured a job in the labor market and up to 70% were able to sustain their job for more than 6 months.
